Jerry Don Clark is a fourth generation rice and soybean farmer. He owns and operates a 2,500 acre farm in the Otwell/Valley View area with his brother. Their biggest challenge and accomplishment has been farming in a groundwater decline area and converting the farm from groundwater irrigation to surface water through reservoir and tailwater systems.
Mr. Clark served on the Craighead County Conservation District for several years and is the Past President of the Arkansas Association of Conservation Districts. He is also a member of the ASWEC Steering Committee.
Come see his presentation - Reflections of Farming the Last 35 Years - at the Arkansas Soil and Water Education Conference and Irrigation EXPO at the Arkansas State University Student Union on Jan. 29, 2025. You can register here.
